Mr. and Mrs. Walsh originally founded the company in 1970 following Mr. Thomas Walsh's long service as an X-ray Service Engineer for the world renowned Picker X-Ray. Picker X-ray produced air-dropped x-ray labs for the Army in World War II and the Korean War and later became pioneers in the fields of cobalt treatment for cancer, ultrasound and nuclear imaging diagnostics. Walsh X-ray began as a small business with few employees yet quickly flourished due to hard work and perseverance. Sarah Ann Walsh, was a crucial part of that success and worked along side her husband. Mrs. Walsh also attained experience as an X-ray Technician, which she received while working for several reputable health care facilities.
