Medical equipment manufacturer Quantum Medical Imaging has completed an installation of its Q-RAD-DQ DR system integrated with Canon's CXDI-50G portable panel at Summit Medical Group's new orthopedic facility in Morristown, New Jersey.

The sale and installation was facilitated by A Walsh Imaging, a Quantum "Gold Star" Dealer in New Jersey.

Summit Medical Group provides specialized orthopedic healthcare services, including comprehensive diagnostic imaging services to their patients in New Jersey.

The Summit Medical Group installation consisted of a Q-Rad-DQ DR System with stored-energy 50kW generator, ceiling mounted tube suspension, an elevating 4-way float table, and upright wallstand combined with Canon's CXDI-50G portable panel shared between the table and wallstand. The portability of the 50G allows for positioning of the detector around the patient versus positioning the patient around the detector, which is critical when imaging pre- and post-surgical orthopedic injuries and prostheses sometimes complicated by a patient's limited mobility. This provides quick and easy imaging of patients enhancing patient care and patient throughput.
