About Us

A Walsh Imaging is owned and operated by an Executive Team comprised of Patrick Walsh, President; Thomas D. Walsh, Vice President; and Anthony Iurato, Vice President. Patrick and Thomas entered the company in their teenage years and quickly became interested and well experienced in their field as a matter of personal choice. During this time the company employed Anthony in 1991 as a Processor Service Technician. Over the years, Anthony's strong work ethic assisted him with his growing responsibilities. The Walsh family asked him to join their company as a partner in 2003. The excellent relationship between the three enables them to work as a unified force to handle and manage all of the company's day to day affairs.

Mr. and Mrs. Walsh originally founded the company in 1970 following Mr. Thomas Walsh's long service as an X-ray Service Engineer for the world renowned Picker Corp. Picker produced air dropped x-ray labs for the Army in World War II and the Korean War and later became pioneers in the fields of cobalt treatment for cancer, ultrasound and nuclear imaging diagnostics. Walsh X-ray began as a small business with few employees yet quickly flourished due to hard work and perseverance. Sarah Ann Walsh was a crucial part of that success and worked alongside her husband. Mrs. Walsh also attained experience as an X-ray Technician, which she received while working for several reputable health care facilities.

To symbolize both the digital radiography era and the new Executive Team the company changed its name to A Walsh Imaging in 2003. As a company and as individuals, we have come a long way since our humble beginnings. The past seven years have given us an unprecedented amount of growth and in the process we have acquired several of our competitors; as well as more than doubled our clients and staff. In 2007, our corporate holdings were expanded with the multimillion dollar purchase of the commercial complex we are located within. Our astounding projected growth rate will be nearly triple within the next decade - a sign of great assurance about the future of the company in the new millennium.

It has been over 100 years since Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen discovered an image cast from his cathode ray generator. It's imagined he could not have foresaw the technological advancements available on the market today; which makes one wonder about advancements the future holds. The one thing you will be able to rely on is that A Walsh Imaging will be there with you every step of the way. Not because we say we are going to be, but because we have always been.
